This is quite possibly the lamest "sports" shirt I've ever seen. Saw this at Sam's Club recently. It has a baseball image on it and simply says "Athletic Team"! The little patch says "AUTHENTIC, HIGH QUALITY". It's the perfect shirt if you don't who your favorite team is and if you want all your friends to know that you only wear "high quality" garments.
This strikes me as a committee decision.
"Can we make it less specific? That way we don't turn away any potential customers. We'll sell TONS of them."
